Help me pass please. What to study? Really want this job offer. Also, what's the salary band for this level? Max TC?

How much time do you have? What’s job description/profile?

Scotiabank XWAs00 OP Mar 27, 2019

2-3 weeks

Do at least 2-3 LCs daily on weekdays and as much as you can on weekends. You can do Grokking the system design interview course as well if you don’t mind spending some money. Read the job description and check the blogs discussing the skills mentioned in JD.

Wayfair doesn’t do LeetCode questions. They have limited set of questions, which they ask everyone. No need to prepare a lot for Wayfair. If you know basics of Relational schema design and some distributed systems, you will get an offer.

What should I study as practice? I want to ace the interview

Veritas gjb1hk Mar 27, 2019

SQL joins, relational schema design principles, basics of distributed systems. Are you sure you want to go there? Not a good place for engineers.

I rejected an offer from Wayfair couple of months ago, did an on-site in Boston for a Senior Software Engineer role. Follow Glassdoor interview questions, they have same system design questions and design pattern questions. Good luck!

OP, did you end up joining Wayfair? Can you please share how I should prepare for onsite interview? Leetcode easy and mediums? What for system design? Thanks.
