To those who live in SF, how much do you pay for rent and what kind of apartment is it? Do you have roommates? How close are you to the east cut/ Google's campus?

Seeing these numbers is almost making up for it being cloudy and rainy in Seattle all week while it’s 78 and sunny in the bay. Almost.
I finally have a team match call for google coming up, but it's in san francisco. Having ~50% of my take home pay spent on rent makes it kind of not worth it. Especially cause TC at google for l4 is actually about the same as i currently make for senior at walmart

$1750 studio in mission. 3 miles from dt but I’m on top of bart so 12 mins bart ride

What’s that suppose to mean? My studio is amazing, neighbors are friendly and building lots of families it’s perfectly safe
