SF to apple or google shuttle commute time
what are your commute times from SF to apple cupertino campuses or google mtv campuses?
Depends where in the city and to which campus. Apple could take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours.
Had a couple follow up questions. Are these shuttles comfortable enough to work in? If so, do some teams let the work you do in commute count towards your working hours?
Yes people work on the shuttles all the time. Granted if you aren’t prone to motion sickness. Most teams are fine with you working on the shuttle and do allow you to count the hours toward your 8 hour day. But if your role is based on hours vs deliverables, that just doesn’t sound ideal.
I occasionally work on the shuttle. Can’t do it all the time as I get dizzy. They are comfortable, but they are buses. I keep making typos.
People commute 2 hours one way? What the hell...
I live in the mission and work in Cupertino. Bus picks me up at 25th and Cesar Chavez at 7:57am. I’m at my building by ~9:10am. Going home the bus leaves my building at 6:36pm and I’m at the same stop in SF at ~7:30pm
Helps when you have a shuttle running every 15 minutes through the mission. Apple commute blows, they concentrate all shuttles to two routes and neglect the rest of the city.
Yes. I chose to live in the mission in part because it is a better commute than if I lived further north in the city

Roughly 80 minutes. Only shitty part is this route is really infrequent, doesn’t run as late, and is uncomfortably packed.
2 hours avg as I have heard from my friends.
