Amazon is asking for SSN to give $80 loaded on Amazon Prime Rewards Visa Signature Card Is it safe to share?? Pardon me- new in US
I started out with CaptialOne credit card btw. You can look into it. But word of caution: donāt apply too many. Every credit history check may results in points deducted.
Donāt apply to more than a 2-3 a year if youāre still building your credit history. Assuming youāre responsible and not maxing our every credit card, after a few years your credit score will come up. I currently have 12 cards and credit score of 835. I only really use 4-5 of my cards and keep the rest in a drawer at home
If you donāt use why applies for so many?
So I have credit cards from Scfu and BoFA They don't show my fico score saying it's not available as I haven't completed 6 months yet. I recently took an auto loan and had 3 agencies hard pull my score. Will it still deduct my points? Also, is it advisable to check score within the banking apps? Will it also deduct my points?
1-3 hard pulls are alright.
Checking scores will not deduct your points.

Every credit card application asks for a social security number. If you don't have US credit history, you will be denied on basically every online application. To get your first credit card, the best option is to go to a local bank branch with your Google paychecks and badge in person, along with your passport plus drivers license if you have one (or a tenant contract if you don't). https://youtu.be/Erp8IAUouus
