At some point Zoom needs to have to start paying competitively or they aren’t going to be able to retain talented/resourceful people . Or attract decent new talent. The word is already getting out that Zoom doesn’t pay well. Bay Area cost of living

Go fill up a bucket of water, shove your fist in and then take it out. Do you see the impression that you left? This is equivalent to you leaving zoom.
The ceo is pretty savvy, he knows what’s up and the type of talent he’s willing to pay. It’s a different strategy than the FANG.

Uh..... go look at some people’s salaries on Glassdoor. There are plenty of small companies making it work despite paying much lower than FAANG. You save money that way which allows you to stay afloat more.
