Any idea what would be the compensation in UAE for US Citizen Sr. MANAGER reporting to Director 3/4 direct reports Requires MS/MBA Retail industry Tech Background Also anyone here in a similar situation? I know if you are working in UAE you still have to pay US income Tax but not as much. Anybody have any ideas about ballpark numbers? Personal experience??
You’re at a distinct disadvantage being a US citizen in UAE, because the lack of income tax is built into the salaries (ie. they are lower than they would be otherwise), and the US is basically the only country in the world that requires you to pay taxes in your home country if you’re not living there.
Tax part may be true, but conclusion is dead wrong. They LOVE and desperately want American presence so badly they overpay to all who have the passport. Big TC packages and also pay for housing, schooling, car, and more.
I’m not sure why you think they would pay extra for Americans over other similarly qualified non-Americans.
Offer is 244K total , after calculation it’s 210k after Tax, everything.... Comes out to be 70k dhs per month. What do you guys think??
