You'll have an extra $5k or so a month. Apples to apples housing price differences will eat about half of that, assuming you're ok with sticking with renting an apartment. Buying in the Bay may be permanently out of reach, but you probably could where you are now.

The 200K is base salary right? If so then heck yeah, move. The extra 90K will significantly exceed the difference in cost of living.
