What would be an acceptable offer for a high performer with 13 years of design experience in apple chip design team. Base/joining/rsus?

Min ICT4, 190-200k base/yr. Replace existing unvested RSUs left behind at current job or atleast 200k 4yr RSU. If moving from 3yr RSU vesting to 4yr, adjust for it, 30-40k joining bonus

What's ICT4

Also take into account yearly health insurance cost and 401k match if what you have is better. The recruiter will be able to give you exact $$ amount for both. Keep in mind that 401k match is tiered. Need to be at Apple for 3yrs(I think) to get full 401k match.

Ok I could comment better on BE, like I wrote on the other comment apple is more about RSU than base salary. I think the job you have now for base salary they will probably increase 10-15%. Probably on the high end of that. RSU will probably be 200k over 4 yrs. I'll say though that I have seen experience folks being underpaid just based off the fact they came from a low paying company to begin with, if you have another competitive offer you can shield yourself from this. Also take into account you'll probably be working minimum of 40hrs per week in the silicon group, they have notoriously long work hrs. Regular week is probably 50/week, could get as bad as 60 but its rare. You may want to consider that when making your decision.
