Salary expectation for Director of product management in Bay Area?
Evaluating some options for director of product management positions in the Bay Area. Not a Californian here so kinda difficult to gauge the expectations.

Depends vastly on the company. Also depends on how much stocks you get. Base salary range would be 175K (small startups) to 350K+ in most other companies. Exception being obviously the FAANGs.

Could range from $200K at smaller companies or non-tech companies to $1M+ at G/FB.
