Salary hike at Oracle BMC
I got bump from senior to principal, but base got increased from 160k to 170k. Is this normal ?
Yes - 170k is good salary for Principal MTS. It is along the lines of FB e5, but stock is slightly lower and we don't have bonus

I thought Oracle BMC in Seattle pays way more than that. People at Microsoft hear this rumor a lot that Oracle pays handsomely. What is total comp at senior including sign on and annual bonus?
How come 170 base is not good? You are also getting around 100 in rsu.
Oh if you get 100 rsu then it is great. Rumor was that Oracle pays great base but not much RSU. Is 100k RSU per year from sign on stock award (eg 400k rsu vesting over four years)?
For senior rsu was around 60. Hopefully stock refresh would give a bump
