Salary of SDE-1 and SDE-2 in Amazon India
In Amazon India: What is the salary (CTC) for SDE-1 hired with total 1 year of experience ? What is the salary (CTC) for SDE-2 hired with total 2 years of experience ? Is there any difference in salary (CTC) for SDE-2 promoted from SDE-1 with total 2 year of experience and hired for SDE-2 directly with total 2 years of experience ?

Not sure about first two points. But external hires are paid much more than internally promoted employees as they are expected to be better than at least half the existing people at that level. Newly promoted of course just meet the bar for that level.
