Salesforce Bellevue and OCI comparison
I have verbal offers from Salesforce and OCI. (No numbers yet) How do the companies compare? How easy is it to change teams ? How is the performance Management (PIP etc) ? TC :185k
I interviewed for Salesforce before but didnât like their culture. It felt fake and dead inside.

I came from MSFT , I personally feel SFDC is 1000% better in terms of culture.
I canât see personally OCI ever being a competitor to AWS or Azure, or heck GCP. Too little too late. And Leisure Suit Larry is just too shady for my tastes. It would have to be a 30-40% bump over Salesforceâs offer to make me consider OCI. People at Salesforce seem to be really happy, they have a solid product and theyâre growing like a weed. No brainer.
OCI is doing far more interesting infra work. If you have to go to an office I'd go OCI.

Can someone answer the team change prospects in both companies?
Changing teams in Salesforce is a very easy and very supporter from management. Personally I changed 4 teams in 5 years. Management canât stop you if you want to switch teams. Officially, you can change teams for every 1 year, but there is no hard rule for that, I have seen people changing teams after 4 months too if they donât like their teams. Every 4 months we have a drive called open opportunity market where every team showcases all open positions they have and try to fill them with internal candidates. Itâs like a job fair. We can go to any booth and enquirer about their open positions and know more details about the team and position. You can provide your details if you are interested and they will interview you. Itâs very transparent and easy process.
