I havn’t seen anything like this on glassdoor for Salesforce interviews.

Its 3 hours coding test and no pause.

Anybody have any idea what to expect in that test ? Is it leetcode only or need to develop any small project ?

Hackerrank sucks.. they confuse you with long and unnecessary verbiages for no reason..I would prefer coding with engineer on the other side..

They go to great lengths to make it cryptic and vague af. Some of the wording doesn’t even make sense even after solving the problem. Solid WTF material.

We play both roles right of the interviewer and interviewe then why do we ask others stuff that we would not like others to ask us. Seriously all this leet code and stuff is just pure BS. We had hired a senior candidate a year ago based on how well he did in leetcode problem. Now the same person is the weakest link in the whole team if not the org. Sad.
If we want a change we need to be the change else stop complaining!

SalesForce has this remote programming test for 3 hrs because they are govt contractors. This test a bit more than leetcode question. Typically it will be a bigger problem like code a component with multiple apis. They will evaluate you based on how you use oops in code and % of test cases passed.

Had same experience with sales force . They asked me to develop a small project in 2 hrs they scheduled the phone interview for and the interviewer happily went back to his own work . I emailed and said I didn’t want to go through it

What’s the best way to practice for these online tests?

I think the only way is signup and practice with hackerrank..

It’s not designed for you; some teams use this for all <L candidates. I don’t like this though.

In my opinion, it is better then LC problems which is far removed from daily work. You could also do it in an IDE and Google it. One drawback is that you could not ask for clearifications
