Hello Salesforce colleagues. I will be joining Salesforce, San Francisco in few days. Wanted to get some insight on best places to stay and commute to the salesforce tower.
I understand. So, l am not considering SF as place to move to
South Bay. Salesforce shuttle
San Mateo?
I am set to join Salesforce too. I heard there is a shuttle from South bay but I'm not sure what are the exact pick up points. I saw one pick up point near SJC airport somewhere. But otherwise, bullet to SF station and then bike or bus. Or cal train to milbrae and then bart to embarcadero. Both options will take anywhere between 1hr 15mins and 2 hrs. 🤷♂️
Shuttle stops are at San Mateo, Mountain View, Cupertino, Santa Clara
Is there a map of some sort with the precise pick up spots?
Lots of people live in East Bay and take Bart. Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Castro Valley all 30ish minutes on the train
You read my mind. OP if you want to stay close to nature and not commute 1.5 hrs each way.. then all these locations will work for you! Walnut creek has the best downtown though!! Castro valley and lafayette are more sleepy. But castro v is only 15 mins away from towns like dublin and pleasanton with lots of good restaurants and shopping joints.
+1
If you want nature look at Marin in the north bay. You can take the ferry to work each day.
I work from home in Brooklyn, check-in with Bryant Park about once per month and visit tower approx quarterly.
Checkout lake Merritt area . 15 mins Bart ride to salesforce tower

Location? I am guessing nyc. Best places Brooklyn, ny and Newport, Hoboken, exchange place nj.
Sorry. Updated the location. It’s San Francisco.
Ewwww, that's a city of homeless bummers (nyc slang) and human feces on the streets and sidewalks. Do you really want to work there?
