Got an offer from Salesforce for SMTS. Base pay 170k . Stocks around 100k. Bonus standard 15%.No relocation or signing bonus. Is this a typical compensation for Senior Software Engineer at Salesforce? Current experience:- Over 5 years.
Can you please tell us about interview?
There were 6 rounds including lunch. The first 3 rounds were more resume specific , lunch was behavioral and last 2 coding. I think the position was a perfect fit for me as I was working on the exact same tech stack what they were trying to migrate
Location ?
San Francisco
What team ?
Looks average for new hire SMTS these days. I've seen base go up to $200k with $100k RSUs, and I've seen packages of up to $200k RSUs given on $160k base. If you have competing offers, you could negotiate this up to $190 - 200k base and $120 - 150k RSUs.
Yeah I don't have any onsite interviews in the time range where I have to accept this offer. Are high TC's usually the case when you have multiple competing offers or much more experience?
Yes
