I’m at 130k with 10% bonus. A coworker suggested I️ should be at 165k base (which matches online research for my title). How do I️ get them to make such a jump? Plus, what else do I️ ask for? (Stock, etc)
You have to build a strong case for it. Your best bet is to apply for another role where a promotion is involved, or leave the company. It’s difficult to have that discussion once you’re already in the role and getting paid a certain amount. Good luck!
Bring in a new offer. It's an amazing way to find out whether they actually value you.
You don't get them to make such a jump; you make the jump.
Thanks all— seems like a promotion is what’s needed
Salesforce is not Oracle or Uber.
Ass kiss your boss, that’s what my coworker did to get a raise and promotion
Work harder
No offense but need to ask this q Are you on H1 or L1 visa Could be the reason for low base Or when you negotiated the salary you were on some working visa
If you're smts, then 135 is definitely low. Like others said, you need to get an offer elsewhere to get paid what you're worth. If you're MTS, then 135 isn't low at all.

Change jobs. It's the only way to get raised to market rates, otherwise you are stuck in the companies raise structure. Small little rant, companies want to retain people and add all of these programs to keep them, but then low balls them on salary and are shocked when they leave two years later because they are being offered a 40k jump in salary.
