How much do you save a year from your actual paycheck?
I make 77k a year.
After tax it's about 45ish. I spend about 20 on stupid stuff and then 10 for my parents. So I put away around 15 per year. Is that enough?
- New / OtherAuntHildaI think your math does not add. You make $45k post tax of which you spend $22.5k on stupid stuff, $4.5k for parents so that leaves you with $18k which is 40% in savings and not 15%
- Amazon ऐमज़ॉनI make $300k per year!
Hardly save anything...
Ooh yeah, I have a house half paid thats around 1.5M now and stocks worth $250k accumulated.
- Microsoft / Otherkobf&hd36No 401k or Roth? You should max the 19k in 401k first then think about what is left for other things. Been doing this since I made 60k so you make enough. Now I'm dumping near 60k a year in retirement accounts.
