Hello folks, could you please give me references for a therapist (for depression/stress) in the east side? Do they take insurance?
I would recommend doing some research on some therapists that match your needs on the east side. A lot of therapists have information about what they focus in and what they’re good at on their websites. You can actually set up a call to see how your personalities vibe together and if their therapy style will work for you. Some questions that are good to ask - What is your counseling style? - Are you more active or passive (work to create a plan-journaling, self care, etc; just talk therapy) - Do you assign homework? - What material do you like to cover in the sessions? - What are your strengths? - What are your weaknesses? - How often do you prefer to meet? - Do you take insurance? All these questions can be asked and answered with a call (it’s free). This is an easy way to weed out a therapist that might not be a good fit without spending a ton of money
http://www.thrivecounselingandwellness.com/ are on the east side and are covered for Expedia’s Premera health insurance
I also believe they are covered by Microsoft and Amazon.

TESLA UP 14% AFTER HOURS 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Move out of Seattle ASAP. The area is depressing as hell. I hope you get better.
Thank you for the kind response. This isn't for me though. A friend of mine is going through something and they aren't doing anything about it. I want to make the appointment for them and get them to go.
I am sorry as I don’t have a therapist recommendation. I wish I could have helped you in that. But I felt like I would die if I stayed their longer. Had to move out to protect my sanity or whatever sanity I was left with after the intense winters.
