I haven’t done shit today!
I used Redfin and paid 1% to Redfin and 2% to buyers agent. Agents are not doing much in this market so not worth paying 6%.
👍🏼
6% is just too much for job like that. I would not even pay 1% just for spending 10 hours and doing paperwork
Zillow Instant Offers. We gonna start flippin’ homes.
I would advise against it. Typically you will sell your house for a larger profit with an agent than without. The price differential usually offsets the commission by a wide margin.
I did this. Used a lawyer to handle the paperwork and make sure everything was done correctly. Cost was a few thousand $, well worth it. Agents don’t add enough value to warrant $60K cost on a $1M sale. The MLS has some value and their experience with getting through the process does to, but the cost is high.
Yes you can do this. You will need to be more hands on but if you put in some time you def can. Msg me I can point you in the right direction..
Sounds like in this seller market sellers actually become more and more greedy. You already made a ton of 💰with the recent growth, receive offers with no contingencies, arrange bidding wars to drive prices to 10-20% over asking, and yet, try to save some % on agent. Cool.
Same goes with the seller’s agent. They don’t have to do anything. I went to an open house where the agent was watching basketball on the big screen TV. What a dick. They don’t deserve 3%!
@google: Your response is junk. Just because the property value has appreciated, why should the seller give money to sellers agent for doing nothing? If you are so gracious, and since googles stock price as appreciated, why don’t you just give 3% to me?
