All you future homeowners, just curious on what are some of the top criteria that you have to buy a house lets say 30 mins outside of SF in peninsula? Looking to shore up our marketing message.
City : Burlingame
Pluses:
Good schools (9,10,10)
3 min drive to 101 freeway
Walk to groceries and Starbucks
10 min walk to schools and parks
10 min walk to the bay
10 min walk to Caltrain
10 min drive to BART
10 min walk to Burlingame downtown
7 min drive to San Mateo downtown
30 mins to SF in traffic
40 mins to south bay in peak traffic
Also has rental income from a separate unit
Main house is 3bed 2 bath not so big but decent size for young couple/roomates/young family
Minus:
Around 1220 sqft main house and 450 sqft for apartment. Some people may like bigger house but this is great for young couples or families starting out. Rental income is great great help!
On a busy street but we built a wall and garden for privacy. Never had noise issues to be honest.
