Has anyone tried transferring their stock to Robinhood? It says there's no transfer fee and they cover the transfer fee out for the first one. I'm a little suspicious. I have stock vesting in E-Trade and wondering if I should try it instead of selling on E-Trade
I am interested in understanding the tax implication of such a move.
I did it. It’s awesome! That promotion is only to widen RH’s portfolio, it seems. Giving us the benefit! I bulk transferred my old company stock (for free) and have sold more than 50% of that stock without any fees!
Wow ok, sounds like a good deal then!
Hate the $20 fees on E*TRADE every time u sell rsu
I am currently moving my brokerage acct from Schwab to Robinhood. I did the math. Paid about two fiddy in fees last month at schwab. I pay zero at Hood. I also have espp at Schwab. Letting it stay there.
Are you trading actively? How did you accrue such high fees?
Yes.

The Ultimate Dream Company Poll
What exactly are you trying to achieve? Why do you want to move your shares to a different broker?
I think you can sell it for free on Robinhood?
Maybe, I don’t know, but Etrade has a standard fee of $7. Is that such a big deal?
