Hey ✌️ I'm currently on the job market and see there are open positions at Facebook for Product Designer. The first listing on Glassdoor that I saw was 20+ days ago and was recently relisted earlier today. I filled in the job application on the Facebook careers page and sent through for when I saw the listing 20+ days ago. I never heard back. I want to send another application but feels discouraged since I've tried to apply at other times in the past. Any advice? How do I even stand out or stand a chance if they receive hundreds of candidates through their careers page, every day?
Lol not true ! I applied online and heard back from all biggies - google Netflix fb within a week
Are you a good designer? I need you for a startup
Sure am!
They have many candidates but also a big recruiter team. I got response from Google only 1 day after I applied, but same CV never got response from FB. But a year later FB contacted me for a position I have never applied. I believe that if they have headcount and you’re good fit they will contact. And try to apply different offices, some offices need people than others.
DM me for a FB referral

You’re more likely to get a response from big companies like Facebook and Google if you can find someone there to refer you.
I understand getting referred is a common thing. So does that mean the only real chance for any potential candidate is to ask a current employee for a referral, and I shouldn't even bother sending another application? :O
Contact recruiters on LinkedIn. Doesn’t work always but definitely works if you are in FAANG
