Received an offer from wayfair for TC ~180K Base - $135 Bonus - 10% Stocks - $44K/yr Yoe - 5 Location - Boston Good or bad?
Any updates OP ? I have interview coming up for the same role.
Current DS culture is toxic. Territory fights between directors (think VPs at most companies), one even threatened to leave with his entire org if he couldn’t report to the CTO directly. Mounting losses make the stock grant questionable. I’d much prefer Walmart TBH, even if it paid less (which Walmart generally pays more than Wayfair).
Culture comment should be a red flag for all those who are looking. On the other hand, politics is normal. Reorg happens at Wayfair frequently - we've had two major ones in engineering already in the new year. I'd interview to get practice and determine market value.

I did but I was hoping to get additional data points with this post
If all you care about is money, you can almost always do better than Wayfair. If you care about working with decent tech, you can always do better than Wayfair. If you want to work with nice people and have reasonable hours there are teams at Wayfair like that. However most of the org is highly political. All of this is well documented on other threads. Any additional information you need?
