Senior Java Developer TC in Atlanta ?

I have had a recruiter contact me from Salesforce for a Sr. Java Dev position in their Atlanta location. She mentioned that the max TC for the position is 130K + 10% bonus, no RSUs. I recently moved to Atlanta from Boston and have no idea about the market. Is that a good salary in Atlanta for my experience? Wow that's super high, like a lot of LMTS don't even make quite that much. Can you provide breakdown of offer and which cloud it was? Did you take it?

Expedia CompMAGA Dec 3, 2018

Sure. It was 190K base, 200K RSU for 4yrs, 15% bonus, 50K sign on/2 yr, 15K relo. I did have a strong compete offer from one of their competitor though.

10% Bonus is for SMTS, right? That offer sounds ok cash wise for Atlanta but you should definitely ask for RSUs.

Apple applpark Dec 3, 2018

Wait SMTS bonus is supposed to be 15% right?

Salesforce GQch66 Dec 3, 2018

I thought LMTS was 15%, maybe SMTS is too.

I’m a recruiter in Atlanta - that’s pretty low for 11 years of experience at a company like SFDC

What is salesloft paying for somebody at senior or principal level at Microsoft? 15 yoe. You guys are still a rails shop, right?

On average Sr. Software Engineer at Pandora in Atlanta with around 5 yrs of experience makes 135K+10-15%bonus+15k relocation+5K joining bonus+60k RSU (3 years)

Not horrible for Atlanta but you can do much better if you're really a senior. Square is paying much more there. Pandora and Opendoor will also beat that by a mile. I'm pretty sure even many non tech companies will.
