Is it true many Indian couples are in sexless marriage?
I just saw a post about marriage earlier. This guy talked about qualifications of his girl and tried to decide if he should get married. His post made me think through what I want in a relationship/marriage. As a girl in tech, it’s hard to find a bf. It’s even harder to find one with a higher TC if he’s not in tech. For me TC doesn’t matter that much. I’ve only dated guys working in different fields and with lower TC. If you are a guy, would you date a girl with a much higher TC than you? What do you see in a person that makes you wanna date them for a long time? Do you believe in soulmates? Do you care about materialistic things? Do you care about his/her looks? Their education backgrounds? Their social status? Their income? Their personality? Their hobbies? Would you mind if they smoke/drink etc? In my opionion, they all matter. But some matter more than others. Some are decisive factors. For me, it’s loyalty and honesty. Please vote your top factors/preferences when choosing a life partner! This is a long poll. I really wanna have a in depth discussion about about finding a life long partner. Thank you so much. TC: ❤️
You got too much time.
Yea you are right. I’m a loner on a Friday night. And all the other nights
Why is loyalty up there? Are there people who are fine with their partner not being loyal?
Location?
Sense of purpose matters the most in the long term!
The only thing that matters to me is if they value reason and logic. But there’s always a point on the hot scale where all my preferences can go out the window 😂
all it matters to me is ATTITUDE
In decreasing priority: 1. Loyalty, trust, empathy, respect 2. Maturity, responsibility (conflict resolution, willingness to work things out, open communication, taking on responsibility of the family and household, taking time to build a stable relationship) 3. Financial stability and spending habits 4. Supportive and encouraging 5. Personality (fit and healthy, hobbies, good conversations) and lifestyle (smoking drinking) Of course, can't get all but don't know where to draw the cut off.
I'm a guy of Indian origin. I essentially look for these - 1) I have to admit, I checkout for looka. But it is mostly I see is if the girl has a pleasant smile (girls who don't smile are scary). 2) Some alignments... Can I see if there are some common goals that we can accomplish in an year or two that can help us bond for lifetime (could be anything, going on cruise trip or celebrating an Indian festival in a traditional way)... 3) the rest I wish for a Venn diagram (https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venn_diagram) do we have some commonalities and does she have something that I appreciate or seek to learn from her.... Basically do you like and respect the girl enough to accept any hurdles that come rest of the life. But then I don't seem to have much success, so not sure if this is of any value.
