ServiceNow offer evaluation
Hi all, need help evaluating a ServiceNow offer. It's a SDE 2 full stack position. I have 1.5yrs exp. 115k base 10%bonus 55k RSU vests over 4 yrs what do you guys think?? is this average for my experience? current TC 120K

Personally if I was you I would wait another 1.5 yrs then jump ship for an even bigger TC Your current TC is 120k Your new TC would be 115+11.5+13.75=140.25 That’s only a 16.875% increase If you wait another year, year and a half, you could command I’d say a 50%+ jump to a TC of $180k
Can’t I just join and hop to another one after 1.5yrs?? Or does that look bad on my resume?
The optics of hoping twice for a ~20% increase are worse than one hop for about ~40%. If demand for SWEs is still very high in 2 years it likely wouldn’t matter. But it’s hard to say what the future holds.
Why didn’t you push for a SDE 2 position? SDE 1 is basically 0yoe
I pushed it to 120k/65k after first round of negotiation
