Autodesk is great for people just coasting along and do whatever being told to do. But if you care about what you deliver and have ideas to bring changes and improvements, DO NOT accept the offer or you'll find yourself battling against a delusional management and mediocre colleagues on daily basis.

YOE and role? How much better is it compared to your current? Any other interviews lines up?

YOE in USA 2.5 years. It’s almost 20% more than current base. Just 1 more onsite lined up. It’s Sr Sw engg role.

      10% bonus... so grade 12?

Almost 200k for 2.5 yoe is pretty good and almost near the top. If you can’t manage a FANG offer, I would say take this.

That’s very high for ADSK. I left Autodesk as senior engineer, SF office, 120k base, no RSU. lol. Promotions are few and far in between, and raises are low.

Working at Autodesk was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Keep your options open and RUN out if it doesn't work in the first 90.

I make 140k and get 10% bonus. Got 500 shares of Autodesk stock at hire and 10k sign on bonus. I suggest u look elsewhere though. Management sucks lately. I'm about to accept an offer somewhere else and leave after 3.5 years

Yes I have read about them too... all the more reason trying to figure should I accept it or not. Facing the same in current team too !!

That’s a good offer for Autodesk. Good culture, good benefits. Definitely better than Oracle. Seems like a great move if 20% over current TC.

Son let me tell you this. Looking for money or career growth? Probably not the best place in the bay. Looking to spend more time with family? Better wlb? Planning a kid? Want a 6 week off every 4 years on top of unlimited PTO? Then nothing, and I mean nothing in the bay area compares.
