Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
165k base
That’s very high for ADSK. I left Autodesk as senior engineer, SF office, 120k base, no RSU. lol. Promotions are few and far in between, and raises are low.
I make 140k and get 10% bonus. Got 500 shares of Autodesk stock at hire and 10k sign on bonus. I suggest u look elsewhere though. Management sucks lately. I'm about to accept an offer somewhere else and leave after 3.5 years
Autodesk is great for people just coasting along and do whatever being told to do. But if you care about what you deliver and have ideas to bring changes and improvements, DO NOT accept the offer or you'll find yourself battling against a delusional management and mediocre colleagues on daily basis.
Fwiw: I recently read about layoffs (on here).
Working at Autodesk was one of the worst decisions I've ever made. Keep your options open and RUN out if it doesn't work in the first 90.
That’s a good offer for Autodesk. Good culture, good benefits. Definitely better than Oracle. Seems like a great move if 20% over current TC.
What product?
Son let me tell you this. Looking for money or career growth? Probably not the best place in the bay. Looking to spend more time with family? Better wlb? Planning a kid? Want a 6 week off every 4 years on top of unlimited PTO? Then nothing, and I mean nothing in the bay area compares.
TC or GTFO
