Should I join IBM cloud as Software Engineer?
I am receiving a software engineer offer at IBM in SV for one of their cloud projects. 1. How good is IBM and its cloud division? 2. Do they give stock options? 3. Signing bonus?
No. I was in their cloud division. It sucks, no direction and all buzz marketing words. Expect to be disappointed. No stock options. Small sign on bonus.

My friend worked in IBM cloud as system architect for few years. Recently left because IBM has already lost the war.

I work in Watson. Some of what they say above is true and it depends on where in Watson. What department in Watson?
If you have a coupe of targets find the leader on LinkedIn not the department see if he has a good trait and try to connect with people that work with him in that department. You can even ask the questions to those people.
What is the pay (range) offered? They dont provide any stocks but you can get stocks for 5% less
Just curious, what would make you want to leave Amazon for IBM?
Not having fun. Feels too over worked and stressed out. Trying to break the golden handcuffs.
Conflict with their vision of control of the world. The lack of understanding over the complexity of the current labor scenario. The idea that AI will replace rather than intelligently collaborate to human augmentation?
Which cloud division? Blue cloud/ bluemix / softlayer?
