Hello, my appraisal is just done and I have got exceeded expectations as the appraisal. I have been getting the same since I joined the company 3 years ago. I also had a salary promotion in the first year of my job. But all I have been getting so far is a standard measly 3% hike every time. My manager said that it's his boss who decides on salary hike. Should I go talk to his boss before he decides on hike or wait until later? How do I handle this?
santa Clara.
Hahahahah no.
Yes
Just keep in mind that whatever you talk to your boss's boss will in turn be communicated to your boss and you don't blame your mgr.
Oh the good old manager's manager trick. Check this out at around 1 min how it works https://youtu.be/4T2GmGSNvaM
ROTFL!
Tell your manager that you would like to talk to your skip and if that's okay with him or her.
Only if you want to be unemployed. Raise the matter with your boss and your hr business partner. Dust off your resume and start looking just in case things don't go as expected.
The hike for TT or an exceptional performer is just 3%? Is it because you are on the higher pay band within your level? Or is this across amazon/AWS
