Signed Amazon offer - Google interview call

I signed Amazon offer and I’m currently in the stage of H1B transfer. I got a interview call from Google now. It’s always been my dream to work at Google. What should I be doing now?

If Google really means so much to you go ahead and interview. If you get it, you can use Amazon's pay to negotiate. If you don't, you atleast can take the experience to prep better for next time.

Interview at Google! Especially since it’s your dream. Amazon is pretty pushy on saying they have “deadlines” for offers. It’s not true. Take the interview with Google. If you get an offer, take it, and you have your dream job :). Also, if you’re interested in FB feel free to DM me ;)

Thank you so much. Yes, but I already signed their offer. So the deadline doesn’t hold good anymore to me.

If you don't think there will ever be a reason to work at Amazon in the future, go for it

Will I get blacklisted?

If you're into Cloud, stay with Amazon. Google cloud is not that exciting and way behind even in terms of support and documentation

AWS internally is a dumpster fire

Interview at Google. Don’t tell anything about Amazon to them.

Salesforce pastry OP Feb 7, 2018

Why is that? I’m currently at H1B transfer process. Shouldn’t I inform them about it?

Oath BlondeGold Feb 7, 2018

No don’t tell anything. Amazon will not come to know. Just say Google that you got an offer from Amazon and gave 2 weeks to accept so you want them to expedite. Delay the Amazon joining date if you have already given. You can even say them no 1 date before joining. I know some people will say it’s unethical but it’s all about YOU. In 2009 several companies cancelled job offers. This is business. Just do what’s best for you.

Tell the recruiter that unfortunately you just accepted an offer and request the recruiter to contact you again sometime down the road. Unlike Amazon recruiters, they won't just disappear when you say this and will actually contact you at a later date.

Interview with G, if it works out then you're going to be happy at work instead of regretting that you passed an opportunity.

Interview with google. Get it first before you make a decision. You may not get an offer but at least you tried and there are no other problems. It’s a freaking phone interview, you are still miles away from getting offer

So did u tell Google HR that u already have amazon offer or u don’t ? I am in a similar situation got a call from my dream company. Should I just interview nd not reveal about current offer ?
