Why do companies with O365 subscription, invest in Slack when Teams is available for free with O365.
I heard Teams is also launching for linux which will boost its market share.
Does Teams have good integrations like Slack.
In long run is it going to be bad for Slack Stock ?

But it seems to me that you actually think Teams UX doesn’t suck ass, which is your real problem with what I’ve said.
I’ve detailed the reasons in response to you saying “Oh, ok. You clearly know how to provide valid argument”, and your only response was to claim that I wasn’t talking about UX, but instead missing features. I went ahead and explained to you why missing features are a part of UX and now you’re complaining “boo-hoo, you’re so rude, I was only comparing two things”.
You’ve been shown wrong every step of
this conversation and now your complaint is that I turned it from your comparison to a non-comparison just listing the absolutely fuckjob of a UX Teams is? No one else chimed in on this thread with comparing the two products. So it got morphed.
I have not seen a lot of traction for MSFT teams. Let me also say this. I have not seen any traction for Cisco Teams either. If you interview a lot in bay area, you will see notice this pattern.
Webex - great
Cisco webex teams - huh?!?!?
May Slack fail? Of course. But the founders of slack have created one great company after another, pulling in their best developers from one venture into another's. There is a podcast NPR, with a founder being interviewed. I encourage you to listen to it, regardless of the decision you make. It is inspiring and educational.
Doesnt make sense for CIO to get various vendor and then those integration issues vs MS providing under one umbrella.
Most companies already use Microsoft enterprise suite hence they would prefer Teams due to lower marginal cost and integration with MS ecosystem.
Companies are in the business of selleing product not chatting
And it doesn't take them forever to make improvements.
Slack is much better
