What’s it like working there? Specifically in the DMV area? I’m interviewing for a design position.
I had an offer from them a few years ago. Seemed like a real cool group but their benefits were awful. Maybe things have changed, but just something to keep in mind.
I also interviewed at the DC office last year for an analytics role. Very nice people/no nonsense/great work life balance but they lack good healthcare coverage and don’t have paid maternity leave. Went to BAH instead which is bigger but had more benefits.
For anyone coming back and reading this older post, benefits are awesome and compare well to other companies. There were some changes made at the beginning of 2019. Slalom now offers 16 weeks of paid maternity leave.
Best. Job. Ever. And I’m not kidding. Been here 3 years and I’m never leaving. I was sick of being a whipping boy at other companies who SAY their people are their greatest assets, then what they DO is work them stupid hours and cut them like they were expenses. I’m still in the honeymoon phase here at Slalom Dallas. Come on over if you’re people-first and purpose-driven.
Hey are you still at Slalom Dallas?
Haven’t worked there but worked with a bunch of awesome people in the past who are now there. They all love it. I interviewed with them and loved them, but got a significantly better offer elsewhere. I’d give it a serious look. Slalom’s the real deal.
@hayek I second that notion. This place is run by emotionally mature people who are in it for the long run. Some offices are close, like family, others less so. But I truly got to see their “people first” approach when two projects went sideways. I was blown away by how respected I felt by management and by how intelligently the situations were handled.
Which market are you in? Dallas as well?
Hi people.. I just got an offer with slalom consulting Seattle but trying to negotiate salary. My role is pretty new but I would like to have an idea of the base salary. Thank you
Pmed
What was the answer on this for TC?
The people I know who have worked there really liked it
