Avoid teams with only Chinese or Indians especially with a Chinese/Indian manager
Hi! I was in the process of interviewing for a job that I wanted pretty badly, and it seemed like overall my onterviews went pretty well. after my third skype interview i hadnt heard back for a week. just now the hiring manager let me know that because of people being out of the office the process is moving much slower than anticipated, and that they’ll reach out to me when theyre ready to move the process along. is this common? i feel kind of defeated although this is better than a no! i just dont really know how to respond. is it rude to say “if theres anything I can do on my end to move the process along, please let me know”? any insight is greatly appreciated.
Yes, it happened to me, started interviewing in February, the final round happened in May, got the offer so it was worth it
This gives me some hope lol. Thank you so much!
It’s summer time. PTO galore.
Friends keep telling me this is their way of saying they’re not interested or are keeping their options open. I guess I just feel confused lol.
FYI - There are always better opportunities if not this
Trying to keep that in mind that if it doesn’t work out there’s a reason lol. Just always hard to keep in mind in the present moment. Thank you!!
Possibly. I'm being interviewed in various parts of th vacation world if that helps
There is a lot involved in hiring, a lot of moving parts. You can't help it go faster. Just relax, apply for other jobs if you are bored.
Thank you for the insight! I guess I’m just a little to eager lol.
