Is it okay to grab one while I explain how you can trap rain water? I feel like its a trap. I was so hungry :(
Did you ask first?
It’s fine. The probably brought the snacks for you out of pity, WeWork. I probably would anyway after reading that the bank can’t even afford to do layoffs because it had to buy up Neumann’s voting powers and “consulting fees”
Eat as much while you can
It’s more to show you what will be yours soon
Eat if you are hungry. If you are interviewing somewhere that is willing to stoop to the level of psychological mindgame that you seem to inferring to that doesn't seem like the type of place you want to work at
Speak with your mouthful.

I think it depends on what the snack is. Ideally you want something big and chewy, like a bread, that you can take a bite of and chew on while explaining how easy the solution is. Make sure to turn your head to take a bite and looking at them sideways. If they don't have any, excuse yourself to go get one from the cafe at the start of the interview It shows that you know you belong there.
That’s how they get you. It is a trap.
