Snap L5 upper end comp?

I have offers coming in from Cruise, AirBnb, Stripe. I am ex-Goog. I am interviewing for L5 in Snap. What type of compensation can I negotiate? What is the amortized comp including refreshers etc.?

Also do mobile or backend teams vary in their comp?

  • Work is interesting for sure. Levels.fyi has accurate information with base pretty much the same and equity 1.2-1.6. Offers are usually standard, negotiation is possible but mostly on signing bonus, because almost no other company can match TC at the same level.

      You got it. Honestly as far as social media / consumer Internet companies go I do think they are and could do some pretty interesting things. I also like the idea of living in LA for a few years.

      For my case my special sign on also vest over 4 years. They separate it just because they don’t wanna change target refresh which is initial grant / 4.

      Yes they also do. And those RSU all fall into “special sign on” category no matters what the vesting period is. And they will be separated from your standard RSU grant so Snap won’t need to increase your target yearly refresh.
