Snap offer 1 yoe
1 YOE and I get an offer from Snap. TC is around 250k I have one last time to draw h1b. They promise me several things but they can’t put on offer letter even if with the condition. 1. Draw the h1b for 2019 and 2020 2. If I am out of status, they will send me to branches out the US. The reason is that they are afraid that what if I am a bad performer. As long as at least I perform average, they will do above for me, but they can’t guarantee anything. I definitely can feel their sincerity from the talk, but I feel really insecure about what they promise me. Any suggestion for a way to secure my right? or other suggestion?
I don’t think snap is at a position to make and keep those promises. We don’t even know if they exist in 2 years from now.. But, what is your alternative solution? Bigger companies such as msft, google and Facebook have multiple offices and can send you somewhere else.
Not really. I have offer from Amazon but they need me to have h1b.
How come that you have 1yoe and only 1 h1b attempt left? Everyone in stem gets 12+24 months of opt.
