As with any argument, have you tried to read the problems with the current medical system in the US? No system is perfect, even if there's a single flaw in system X that doesn't mean every other system is better than X.
What's wrong with a two-tier system - free basic coverage, rest paid? Reference: Germany. There are all shades between the current healthcare system in the US and the completely free, cover everything including condoms and dildos, system introduced by the Sanders nut and now uniting all radical lefties. As long as that's the only alternative, most people would prefer the current system.

I want dildo coverage. I was visiting UK and walked into a clinic and got best medical services of my life. US has a lot of room to improve but we gotta get over doctors need to be smartest people in room. They don't.
