Recently sold my tech startup (data storage tech). Previous to that I built an industrial export business that averaged. 50-80k rev/month. Before that I built an AI platform for medical billing and coding that was white labeled to a US-based company. Total experience: 5 years post grad. Hoping to make my next career move in a more corporate setting at a larger tech company. Business Development and Strategy are natural passions of mine, and I understand (or at least I think) recruiters prefer applicants with more traditional/corporate experience, so I am willing to take any level position to get my foot in the door. Referrals/job leads would be greatly appreciated.
You're my hero
You wouldn't fit in the corporate world
Never had a corporate job (minus an internship), but that’s why I want to give it a shot.
Thought about starting or joining an NGO?
I actually haven’t. That’s a great idea!
"Data storage tech"... tell us more!? The 3 things you mentioned don't seem to go together, hence the question...
Curious too🤔
It was a identity management platform where we stored personal (or particular asset) info on a scalable blockchain. We were also working on a way to completely anonymize and encrypt the info.
Can you revert a binary tree, though?
I can!
How much did you make till now?
Around $100k (annual income)
So between all 3 startups u made only 100k?
What I paid myself or what my salary was annually. Doesn’t include anything else.
So what I am hard time understanding is that if u sold 3 startups u wud have made few millions. Why wud u then want to join big company and work for someone else? Doesn’t make any sense
If u have sold so many, do u still need to work for someone?
I want to. Still (relatively) young and I want to learn from a more established firm.
That’s seriously weird ans. If u have made millions for urself then there is nothing a corporate would teach u than having run your own business.
