Has anyone heard about this Airbnb competitor Sonder? My friend recently stayed in one of their apartments and really liked it. Scalable or competitive model?

I interviewed with them. Seems like a great company. Sounded capital intensive but there is potential to raise money through non venture capital sources (like starting a REIT for example). I am not sure how much it can scale beyond a certain point.
