How long does Splunk recruiters take to reply back after onsite interviews for Senior Software Engineer role in the bay area?
I like splunk. Great product and tech. But damn the license cost.
License is cheap if you adopt as a platform
I'm uncertain what you mean. Help me out here. The license is per GB indexed? They have another type?
This was 3 years ago, but my offer came 2 months after onsite interview.
For scheduling onsite, they replied after Two weeks.
Unfortunately it varies. We can do a better job of notifying people in a timely manner.
I guess you view all data the same.. splunk isn’t a commodity logging tool like some of these new vendors out there. You use splunk as the platform for all your data because that is where it gets very cheap. High value data sources that you can use across every organization and department is what I have seen since using splunk
I joined Splunk about an year back and my offer came within a week of my onsite. Keep in mind that if you interviewed towards the end of the week it takes us sometime to get together go over feedback and contact recruiting/HR to set up an offer. Another thing to be aware of is that our recruiters try to make you move to a decision fast giving very little time to negotiate. They always hit you with very good offers but be ready with what you really want so you don’t leave money on the table
They are very responsive.. one or two days max..
