Bay area bubble begins to burst......
Not saying tech bubble. I'm saying bay area bubble. Wages and cost of living have outstripped the benefits of being in the region. We will see many more of these relocations in the next 2 years.
Typically reorgs don’t make the news, so probably not. Relocation packages were offered to any (very few) affected employees to transfer anywhere, not just STL. Nothing is being “outsourced”, which implies a third party... these roles are staying within the company.
Does Square compete with Stripe or did Stripe already kill square?
Square is $30b publicly traded company, so I’m going to go with no, Stripe (who does very different things), did not kill Square. You seem very confused.
A company is doing what is best for the company, nothing new here
Why not outsource to Bangalore? You can better engineers for half the cost
Ahahahahahahahahahaha lmaooo
“better”
Same with our team but there were lot of communication issues
Yes I was also laid off in the same group.
