Square wait time after interview
Hi, i had the final round interview with Square yesterday and am wondering how long the wait would be to get an answer. Also, would you suggest me to send a thank you email to the hiring manager or should everything goes through recruiters? Thanks in advance.
Speaking as a hiring manager - it couldn't hurt to send me an email but TBH I have very little control over whether you get an offer.

It works similar to Google. There's a hiring committee that reviews your feedback and decides whether you get an offer, and if you get accepted on committee and for some reason the hiring manager you met didn't want you or doesn't have room for you any more you'll get shopped around the rest of the company with the note that you're already eligible to get an offer.

Took about 4 business days for me IIRC. I was able to get a "initial feedback is positive" but not a final decision after about 2 business days. About 8-ish day turnaround to get an offer.

I can't quite recall but I think so- I'm pretty sure I got the initial feedback bit after around 2-3 business days, and I really pressed for a verbal offer by the end of the week (was a Monday or Tuesday at that point I believe, and had other offers that would be expiring). Either way, shouldn't be more than around 8 or 9 business days I would expect!
