I have 3 yrs in industry, about 14 in academic research, top notch schools. PhD in comp eng. specialty ML, AI. Developed several unique products for current employer. Employer is a large healthcare co in deep, conservative south. I make 110, no bonus, no options. How much is my employer exploiting me? What’ll be my worth in the west coast?
Just looking at Glassdoor, you could definitely make more. Avg u.s. salary is 150k. Glassdoor doesn't typically include bonuses in that, either. Get that resume tight, update yourself on cracking interviews, and get ready to move buddy!!
In west coast , new grad would make that money easily .

I’d say 250 - 400 range in sf. GTFO there.

To be honest with you.. this is the lowest comp I have ever seen for this role... may be lowest in entire US... doesn't matter if you work in East, West or South... it's extremely too low for this role considering you have PhD from top school and working for 3 years already...
