Hi I am evaluating an offer from Uber while waiting for a few others. $175k base, $50k bonus and 15k RSUs. My current total comp (base + bonus + espp + rsu) is around $315k/yr. Uber values themselves at $48 per share, is it too high (SoftBank deal)? Does Uber really pay out annual bonuses? Is this a fair offer? I have 17 years total tech experience with 10 years as a PM - all Bay Area. I have a BS/MS in CS and an MBA (top schools). I believe I should be Sr PM Level 2, but recruiter says that isn't happening.
And where do you live ?
Bay Area
What's dollar value of stocks? $720k?
$730k according to Uber at $48 per share. I am skeptical.
Nice! I would take it over Adobe. Depending on what your position in Adobe is, you may want to try see if you can get Sr II.
How is 15k rsu s worth 875k$. Either its ~18k rsu s or check with recruiter on the wrong valuation.
$730k but I wanted to push for $875k+ and a Sr PM 2 level.
I haven't accepted Uber's offer yet. Uber bumped up RSUs by 10% everything else unchanged. Fast forward 2 weeks I now have offers from FB and Salesforce, decision dilemma.
What did you end up taking? Did uber bump your TC higher with the competing offer from FB?
What did you end up choosing?
How does it compare with your current comp?
Current Base + guaranteed bonus + espp equal to Uber's base + probable bonus.
