The tax cuts are so good for the economy, good for wages, good for the middle class that folks are worried the economy will be too good and the feds will use interest rates to cool it. Hence the market reaction. The stock market is not the economy.

Pointing at the stock market as the economy is stupid, and it drove me nuts every time Trump points at it for a lack any other good news. What matters is inflation growth and wage increases. As long as wages go up faster than inflation, the economy is on the right track.
So the tax cuts were so good that the feds had to put on the breaks. I’m sure that the $1.50 extra per week that the teacher was getting which Paul Ryan was bragging about is going to be enough to offset this increase in interest rate and drop in the stock market.
The orangutan can’t hang his hat on the stock market now. Even when it recovers, these two records will be in the history books as happening while under Trump administration.
