Stopped using fb and Snapchat
I just use Instagram and blind. I have stopped using fb Snapchat. Any one else feel the same?
Recently uninstalled FB. I gained ~1 hr of my life back. Best decision ever. I used to get sucked into the videos. No more. Now I have time to read. I encourage people to do it.
The only “social” media I’ve ever had is Blind. And I’m on the fence about tossing it. The “crypto” as an answer to any question is just fucking dumb.
What do you mean crypto as an answer to any question?
Spend enough time on Blind, you’ll see many suggestions to “buy crypto” as the answer to many questions
No, I use it a little every day to check what some people are up to, and I post random stuff. Instagram is too insane/flitting for me. Snapchat is just too much effort.
No social media, here, two years counting. Best decision ever, so much happier. Humanize yourself and disconnect from the PR/AD/Propaganda machine. 📢
Same here. Deleted the Facebook app about a year ago. It's a blessing. Less distraction and I don't get snooped on by Zuckerberg either. I also stopped using Google and Gmail recently. Switched to duckduckgo and tutanota mail
Deleted FB, it’s a major time suck. Have made 50 new connections in real life and at least 5 meaningful friends that would be there for me (and vice versa). Changes your life, Wakes you up, you live your life for real, rather than looking at fake representations of people’s lives built upon fake smile selfie.
I have come to realize that the people who will be there for you at any time is what counts the most in life. Have a few and trying to gain more. Tired of this FB, YouTube and Netflix timesuck.
Using FB is like watching TV or browsing net without ad filters. FB is prob. targeting lower levels of life.

My solution for FB problem is a record in the hosts file pointing it to 127 0 0 1. I am not on dating market
I have a ton of use for FB. Professional groups, important updates from friends. I just make sure to unfollow people who only post cat videos or selfies.
"Important updates from friends" lol. Like what exactly?
Like a birth of a child. A launch of their new company. A move to a new country. A run for a local office. A death in the family. The list goes on.
I only use Snap and Blind. Says a lot about me.
