Anyone have info on how this compares to a Data Scientist role at other companies in comp and work they do, job description is vague but have an interview coming up. 8 yoe, BS and MS engineering I currently manage an analytics group and function as lead Data Scientist in a small, highly competitive/visible industry that is known for paying terrible and want to break in to tech. Tons of experience in SQL, data viz tools, R (data wrangling and ML) and worried this would be a step back technically.
