Joined Uber 4 weeks back. Would say that it has advantages of both Public companies and less beaurocracy like small company. There are plenty of problems to be solved.one more plus size is open source technologies.
I don't think you should go to PayPal given how Junior you are. You should take more risks and pick a role that would challenge you. I'm not talking time commitment, rather the breadth of problems you will get exposure to.
Stripe is a great company with great individuals. Ultimately they are in payments which IMHO is a low margin business. It may not be exciting for all.
I hear great things about Rubrik when it comes to the folks they have hired. If you like the team and can wait at least two years for any liquidity event (IPO/acquisition) you should strongly consider over Uber.
I didn't touch on TC as the current difference is negligible in the long run.
I haven’t heard great things (or anything really) about Paypal so maybe not a good idea unless you like the stability of a public company. Uber is probably a better choice if you want stability but is larger than many public companies and thus suffers from many of the common pitfalls that large public companies do. I’ve heard great things about Stripe and its culture. It’s poised in a good place as well and is a good compromise between a large company and a unicorn. Rubrik is obviously a startup with way higher risk/rewards tradeoff than the other companies. However, considering its record so far it seems like it may be a safer bet than most startups. So really it depends on you and what you’re looking for in a company.
