New grad. Concerned about Stripe WLB. The culture doc makes it out that you need to always be on.
Really, WLB is bad at Stripe? Compared to FB?

Stripe, Iâm at Square and looking to move there.
Fb for more teams/areas/bootcamp/scale, stripe for tc/upside. Growth should be similar at both since fb promos fast and stripe is small/growing faster. If youâre not sure exactly what you want to work on and team env/dynamics bootcamp is highly underrated, while team matching at stripe is more of a gamble.
Stripe is like a rising star, I went to their office at seattle, amazingly good. Their interview is unique.
How so?
My WLB at Stripe is slightly better than my WLB at Facebook (which wasnât bad either). My coworkers at Stripe have a much better WLB than my coworkers at FB did.
This is very useful. How many hours do you used to put in at fb vs stripe?
About 40/week.The big difference is that at FB youâd have a steady stream of posts and emails over the weekend that Iâd feel compelled to check. No one slacks or emails over the weekend here.
