Hi fellas, I’ve been doing some of research for possibly an internship in the US at FAANG-like companies. I’m a second year CS/stats major. Here in the Netherlands internships aren’t the norm until, possibly, your masters degree. I would, however, like the experience. What would one need to do to be able to get an internship at one of the more challenging and prestigious companies? Is it realistic to get accepted from Europe? Do they even accept second years students with a good resume? Any and all info is appreciated!
Microsoft is big on sending ppl from europe for internships to the US. I’ve got in with a bit of experience and noname university.
How are you going to get work authorization?
Shouldn’t be too hard getting a nonimmigrant work visa, no?
OP, you can DM me for some help
I had an incredible hard time to get an internship in the US after my masters. Most internships state that they only accept US students currently enrolled in a university. Incredible hard time as in it didn’t happen.
Any news OP? Same situation as you when you wrote this
You need to be in school in the US.
No true. If you’re good, you can apply directly and you will easily get it.
